Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell may have just triggered the biggest shake-up in the Epstein saga to date—and this time, it’s happening behind closed doors under the Trump-era Justice Department.
Sources now confirm Maxwell sat for two intense days of interviews with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche this week, reportedly handing over the names of more than 100 people connected to Epstein’s dark empire. The meetings, which lasted roughly nine hours, were conducted under proffer immunity—protecting her statements from being used against her in court, a move commonly reserved for cooperating witnesses.
According to The New York Post, Maxwell’s legal team claims this is the first time she’s been allowed to tell her full side of the story. Her lawyer, David Oscar Markus, didn’t hold back: “This was the first opportunity she’s ever been given to answer questions about what happened. The truth will come out about what happened with Mr. Epstein and she’s the person who’s answering those questions.”
