Georgia Early Vote: Dems Up 30,000

Georgia’s closely watched Senate contest is entering a critical stretch, with early voting surpassing one million ballots and new estimates highlighting just how competitive the battleground could be ahead of Election Day.

The latest figures have renewed attention on the race involving Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff, whose seat Republicans are attempting to capture. With control of the Senate at stake, both parties have significant reasons to monitor turnout, campaign spending, and voter participation across Georgia.

An analysis published by election commentator E DataGuy offered one snapshot of the early electorate, assigning Democrats a modest advantage among ballots already recorded. However, the estimates come with important limitations, and the numbers should not be mistaken for an official partisan count.

According to the analyst’s graphic, approximately 1,026,997 early and mail ballots had been included in the model. Of those, 525,036 were categorized as Democratic and 494,078 as Republican. Another 4,122 ballots appeared in a separate category, although the displayed figures do not fully reconcile with the reported total.
