Fox News Star’s Border Stunt STUNS America!

But Trump’s Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove dismissed the case, calling it a blatant example of the Biden administration weaponizing the DOJ against political opponents.

The deep state prosecutors behind the charges, working in the Southern District of New York, didn’t take the news well. They staged a dramatic mass resignation, with Acting U.S. Attorney Danielle Sassoon leaking a letter accusing Trump’s DOJ of cutting a deal with Adams—dismissing the charges in exchange for his cooperation on immigration enforcement.

Of course, these same “principled” prosecutors had no problem when Biden pardoned Hunter Biden or used the DOJ to interfere in the 2024 election by indicting Trump.

Fox News Hosts Push the Left’s Narrative

Mayor Adams and Border Czar Tom Homan appeared on Fox & Friends, expecting to discuss real issues. Instead, co-host Steve Doocy parroted deep state talking points.

Doocy fixated on Sassoon’s resignation letter, suggesting there was a quid pro quo between Adams and the Trump administration.

“You’ve been in the news all week. The Department of Justice dropped the criminal corruption charges against you,” Doocy began. “The U.S. Attorney here in New York City—she quit yesterday, and so did five DOJ members—because they felt being forced to drop the corruption charges was inappropriate.”

Doocy then pushed the idea that Adams “offered to help with the migration problem” in exchange for the case being dropped.

Adams didn’t hold back.

“Think about that. Think about my attorney, Alex Spiro, one of the top trial attorneys in the country, walking into a room and saying, ‘The only way Mayor Adams will assist in immigration enforcement is if you drop the charges.’ That’s quid pro quo. That’s a crime. It took her three weeks to report this supposed crime? Come on, this is silly,” Adams shot back.

Kilmeade Joins In

Co-host Brian Kilmeade then doubled down, questioning why the Trump administration dropped the case “without prejudice,” meaning it could be reinstated later.

“They said when they dropped the charges, it’s not because they think you’re innocent,” Kilmeade insisted. “They said it’s because it could affect your reelection.”

Adams told them to read Bove’s actual memo.

“They articulated exactly how this was weaponization,” he said.
