Fox News Star HUMILIATES Joy Behar on Live TV!

Fox News host Harris Faulkner didn’t hold back when discussing the shift with Daily Mail.

“I’ve seen it when there was a powerhouse journalist,” Faulkner said. “When Barbara Walters was leading it.”

Barbara Walters, the legendary journalist who co-founded The View in 1997, maintained the show’s credibility until her retirement in 2014. But in recent years, Faulkner argued, the program has devolved into little more than noise.

“Now I don’t really know what the show is, apart from talk, talk, talk; a lot of combativeness,” she remarked. “We have lots of guests who feel spicy and passionate about what they say. That’s not unique to The View or to any other show that I’ve done.”

Faulkner took direct aim at what she sees as The View’s biggest flaw—its reliance on outrage and misinformation.

“What I do think is unique to them is vitriol,” Faulkner said. “A news director told me early in my career, you don’t have to shout breaking news, and you don’t have to shout the truth.”

The panelists on The View are notorious for making reckless statements, often forcing ABC to clean up their mess with legal disclaimers.

“I’ve seen Sunny Hostin read so many apologies on the air recently for the legal exposure of some of the things that she and others have said on the show,” Faulkner pointed out. “That’s dicey.”

Unlike The View, which is pre-taped, Faulkner’s show is live, allowing for real-time discussions with guests from all sides of the political spectrum. That, she argued, gives her a serious edge.

Faulkner didn’t stop there. She likened the energy on The View to a Democrat-led congressional hearing—angry, chaotic, and entirely one-sided.

“It looks like one of those anti-DOGE meetings or the hearings on Capitol Hill,” she said. “Democrats right now are apoplectic and they’re shouting and they’re cussing at us.”

Her observation reflects the reality that The View has become little more than a daily liberal echo chamber, ranting about Republicans rather than offering meaningful debate.

Even with The View’s shortcomings, Faulkner acknowledges that competition pushes her to bring her best every day.

“I like a good competitor, it makes me better,” Faulkner admitted. “So in some ways, whatever they have done over there, they’ve put me in a position where I can come out and win even more. So thank you.”

With Fox News gaining ground, The View’s days as the dominant force in daytime television could be numbered. If audiences are finally tiring of its predictable Republican-bashing, Faulkner may just be the new queen of the 11:00 a.m. hour.
