Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, a battle-tested patriot and former National Security Advisor under President Trump, is going scorched earth on Mike Pompeo—calling out the former Secretary of State for his deafening silence during one of the darkest political witch hunts in American history.
Flynn didn’t hold back in a fiery post on social media, tearing into Pompeo for refusing to act when it mattered most. Flynn accused him of standing idly by while the Deep State steamrolled the Trump administration with the now-debunked Russia collusion narrative.
The clash comes as newly declassified intelligence briefing documents were released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, placing none other than Barack Obama at the heart of the Trump-Russia hoax. That’s when Pompeo broke his long silence—but for Flynn, it was too little, too late.
Pompeo took to X (formerly Twitter) to weigh in on the bombshell documents. “The notion that President Trump ‘colluded’ with Russia has always been false, and the politicization of our intelligence services in the service of that hoax did enormous damage to public trust,” he posted.
