Federal authorities have taken down an enormous fraudulent nursing credential operation that prosecutors say generated roughly $250 million while putting thousands of questionable diplomas into circulation across America.
But shutting down the people behind the alleged operation may have been the easy part.
Authorities now face the far more complicated task of tracking approximately 15,000 people who allegedly paid for nursing credentials without completing the education and hands-on clinical training normally required to earn them.
