Fans Go Crazy Over Milky Way’s NEW Announcement!

Another echoed the desperation: “Mars company seriously needs to bring these back. I was looking forward to this candy bar every Halloween and now you can’t get it at all. Please please please bring it back.”²

The outcry became so intense that secondary sellers on Amazon charged outrageous prices—up to $30 for a 30-piece bag of fun-size bars that normally cost under $10.

Finally, Mars listened.

Milky Way All Caramel Hits Shelves in January 2026

The company announced that Milky Way All Caramel will return to stores nationwide in January. Unlike its predecessor, the new bar is “filled with all of the Milky Way caramel that consumers know and love with none of the nougat,” according to Mars.³

Shoppers can grab the bar in a single 1.55-ounce size or a 3.11-ounce shareable version. While the name has changed from Simply Caramel to All Caramel, devoted fans say the label isn’t what matters.

One Reddit user expressed excitement, writing, “I can’t wait. The caramel one was my favorite.”⁴

Launched in 2010, Milky Way Simply Caramel became a favorite for caramel-only enthusiasts. For 13 years, the bar developed a devoted following before Mars abruptly ended production, never offering a clear explanation. Fans had no choice but to watch the price of remaining stock skyrocket while hoping for a miracle return.

Corporate Giants Feeling Social Media Heat

Mars isn’t the only company feeling pressure from consumers. Earlier this year, they released Twix Snickerdoodle, a cinnamon-sugar twist on the classic candy, citing nostalgia and current trends.⁵ McDonald’s also responded to customer demand by bringing back Snack Wraps after years of absence.

Guillaume Huin, Mars’ senior marketing director, credited fans for the comeback: “If you ever wonder if your posts here matter, if they have an impact, if we even care, let me tell you something, you and you only with your countless posts and requests and petitions made it happen.”⁶

Milky Way All Caramel shows that determined Americans can still influence even the most secretive, family-owned corporations. Mars, run by the billionaire Mars family since 1911 without outside shareholders, rarely answers to public opinion—but the chorus of fans proved too loud to ignore.

This return is more than a candy story. It’s a reminder that when consumers unite, they can make their voices heard—and even persuade powerful companies to reverse decisions that seemed set in stone.
