Over the weekend, a shocking act of vandalism unfolded at the upscale Omni Mount Washington Resort in New Hampshire, where a Tesla Cybertruck was blatantly keyed in broad daylight. The suspect? A man now identified as James “Jim” Pelis — who allegedly thought he could damage private property and walk away untouched.

The incident was captured in crystal-clear surveillance footage and shared online by Tesla owner Kerri Pouliot. In the video, Pelis appears to casually step out of his car, approach the Cybertruck, and, without hesitation, drag an object across the vehicle’s side — leaving behind a nasty scratch.
