President Donald Trump met with his Cabinet for the sixth time this year, and while topics like Ukraine, Iran, and the ongoing border crisis were all addressed, one issue exploded into the spotlight—Jeffrey Epstein’s mysterious death.
Following his opening statement, Trump opened the floor to the press, and that’s when the real fireworks began. One reporter asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to address a Department of Justice statement denying any “client list” connected to Epstein and brushing off allegations of foul play in his highly controversial jailhouse death.
Things escalated quickly when the reporter pressed, asking, “Could you say why there was a minute missing from the jailhouse tape on the night of his death?”
Bondi didn’t dodge. She replied, “In February, I did an interview on FOX. It been getting a lot of attention because I said — I was asked a question about the client list. My response was, it’s sitting on my desk to be reviewed. Meaning the file along with the J.F.K. And M.L.K. Files. That’s what I meant.”
