Elon Musk made a potent remark on Twitter early on Sunday morning. He categorically charged the US mainstream media of pervasive racism, particularly towards white and Asian people. It will be fascinating to observe how this venomous charge develops in the future.
Tesla and Twitter’s founders criticized the media and elite educational institutions for recent attacks on white people and Asians. “The media is racist. For a very long time, US media was racist against non-white people, now they’re racist against whites & Asians. Same thing happened with elite colleges & high schools in America,” Musk said.

“Maybe they can try not being racist,” the billionaire added.
Elon Musk has replied to the criticism brought on by the remarks made by “Dilbert” cartoonist Scott Adams after a poll that sought people’s thoughts. The famous comedian caused a stir when he aired his annoyance at being asked for his view on the subject. “Do you agree or disagree with this statement, ‘It’s OK to be white’?”
Even though racial equality has come a long way, a startlingly high proportion of Black people still worry that white-dominated cultures won’t welcome them. Being White is still a contentious subject, with 21% of respondents indicating they are “not sure” whether it is acceptable, and more than one-quarter strongly disapproving.
Adams continued by criticizing the survey respondents with a slew of contentious statements that were insensitive to white folks. “I’m going to back off from being helpful to Black America because it doesn’t seem like it pays off. I get called a racist. That’s the only outcome,” the cartoonist said.
“It makes no sense to help Black Americans if you’re white. It’s over. Don’t even think it’s worth trying,” he continued. “I’m not saying start a war or do anything bad. Nothing like that. I’m just saying get away. Just get away. ”
Adams’ acerbic Dilbert comic strips were taken down from several of the top newspapers in the country after his viral video, including The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times.
Despite the barrage of criticism he received in response, Adams stood by his divisive words.
“A lot of people are angry at me today but I haven’t yet heard anyone disagree. I make two main points:
1. Treat everyone as an individual (no discrimination).
2. Avoid any group that doesn’t respect you. Does anyone think that is bad advice?”
he said in a tweet.
