Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, just admitted something that perfectly sums up the tone-deaf bubble around the failed Harris-Walz campaign: the team allegedly coddled her so much while she volunteered that they screened her cold calls to make sure nobody said anything “mean.”
Yes, seriously.
During a recent episode of the “Girls Rewatch” podcast, the 25-year-old fashion model and stepdaughter of the Vice President confessed that she was so “sheltered” on the campaign trail, she never even got to experience the reality of voter cold calls.

“They set me up for positive calls because they didn’t want someone to know they were talking to me and then say some absolutely heinous stuff,” she said.
So instead of facing the raw, unfiltered voice of the American public—the kind that every campaign volunteer should hear—Emhoff was apparently shielded from anything remotely negative. No wonder they didn’t see the loss coming.
