Minnesota’s Democrat Governor Tim Walz is desperately trying to muscle his way onto the national stage — and it’s not going well.
In a wild interview with Gavin Newsom, Walz tried to play the role of tough guy, claiming he could physically take on Trump supporters. The result? Total embarrassment. And when Fox News’ Peter Doocy brought it up to former President Donald Trump, the response was as blunt as it was brutal.
Walz, who’s now sniffing around a possible 2028 presidential run, went on Newsom’s podcast to test out his new “alpha male” persona. But instead of coming off as a leader, he sounded like a high school jock who peaked in gym class.

“How do you fight it? I think I could kick most of their a**,” Walz blurted out, before rambling on, “I do think that, if they want to, I know I can outrun them, but I don’t know if we’re going to fall into that place where we want to, OK, we challenge you to a, you know, a WWE fight here type of thing.”
