MSNBC has come under fire after making a bold comparison between Donald Trump’s massive rally at Madison Square Garden and a pro-Nazi event that took place at the same iconic venue 85 years ago. This comparison, which circulated widely across social media, has sparked outrage among many, especially within Jewish communities and Trump supporters, who have deemed it both reckless and offensive.
The image shared by the network likened Trump’s rally to the notorious 1939 German American Bund rally, which promoted Nazi ideology in the United States. This rally, known as the “Americanization” rally, was attended by approximately 20,000 people and featured anti-Semitic speeches, symbols of Nazi Germany, and calls for a “white, Gentile-ruled” America. This historical reference, according to critics, is deeply insensitive and an attempt to smear the former president without any basis.

What makes this comparison even more controversial is the fact that many Jewish Americans, including a Holocaust survivor, were in attendance at Trump’s rally. The event also featured speakers who voiced their strong support for the Jewish state of Israel, making the comparison to Nazism not only inaccurate but also offensive to those who suffered during that dark period in history.
