A newly released audio recording has sent shockwaves through Washington and renewed serious questions about President Joe Biden’s cognitive condition. The clip, taken from Special Counsel Robert Hur’s 2023 interview with the President, paints a disturbing picture: the commander-in-chief repeatedly stumbling over names, dates, and basic facts — at times, requiring his attorneys to fill in the gaps of his own memory.

Those often were supplied by his attorneys, who acted as caretakers of his memory,” reported Axios’ Alex Thompson.
