DHS Secretary Just Exposed Biden’s Disaster

For four years, the Biden administration worked to halt one of the most ambitious border security projects in American history.

Now, according to testimony delivered before Congress, the very project Biden attempted to stop is rapidly moving toward completion.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin appeared before the House Homeland Security Committee this week and delivered a progress report that is likely to infuriate open-border activists and Biden allies who spent years attacking border barrier construction.

Mullin offered lawmakers a clear timeline for when Americans can expect major portions of the southern border security system to be completed.

According to the DHS chief, the primary border barrier stretching from the Pacific coastline to the Gulf of America is on pace to be finished by June 2027. He also stated that every remaining contract tied to the project is expected to be awarded before the end of the month.

The secondary barrier system, designed to strengthen vulnerable sections where criminal organizations have repeatedly breached existing infrastructure, is projected to be completed by the summer of 2028.

“We’re well within track,” Mullin said. “All of it will be fully completed.”
