In a shocking twist that’s left many Democrats scrambling for explanations, Maryland Governor Wes Moore—once floated as a rising star and potential 2028 presidential contender—gave rare credit to former President Donald Trump’s border enforcement policies during an appearance on Fox News.
The praise came during Friday’s edition of “Special Report,” where Fox host Bret Baier pressed Moore on whether the Trump administration deserved recognition for its handling of border security. “Oh, yeah,” Moore responded, stunning political watchers who rarely hear Democrats acknowledge Trump’s tough stance on illegal immigration.
“I know that we all know the solution is you’ve got to be able to secure the border, you have to be able to work to get violent criminals out of our neighborhoods,” Moore said.
