Kamala Harris’ hopes of carrying the Democratic torch in 2028 appear to be slipping away fast.
The former vice president, once considered the natural successor to Joe Biden, is now losing serious ground with her own party’s base. According to a fresh poll released by AtlasIntel, Harris has sunk to a dismal 16.6% support among likely Democratic voters. The number signals a major fall from grace for a politician who was once hailed as the future of the party.
Meanwhile, the far-left wing of the Democratic Party is throwing its weight behind a different figure: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The progressive firebrand from New York is now outpacing Harris with 19.4% of support, reflecting a growing desire among grassroots Democrats to double down on their radical agenda.

Buttigieg, who ran an underwhelming campaign in 2020 before dropping out and endorsing Joe Biden, has somehow climbed his way back into the spotlight. In 2020, he pulled in just 17% of the Democratic vote despite raising over $75 million. Now, it seems the Democrats are hoping he can be repackaged for a second act.
