In a heated exchange on Thursday’s episode of The View, Mark Cuban, a prominent business mogul and supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris, shocked millions by casting doubts on the intelligence and strength of female Trump supporters. Cuban’s comments were quickly scrutinized and have drawn widespread backlash from conservative women across the country.
Cuban, invited as a guest on the show, claimed that former President Donald Trump has a pattern of avoiding women with strong personalities and sharp intellect. “Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women! Ever! It’s just that simple. They’re intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them,” Cuban stated. He went on to suggest that Trump’s political rivalry with Nikki Haley, a former governor and UN ambassador, underscores his discomfort with strong female figures. “Nikki Haley will call him on his nonsense with reproductive rights and how he sees and treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can’t have her around. It wouldn’t work,” Cuban added.

The co-hosts of The View, sensing the weight of Cuban’s statement, quickly shifted into damage control mode. Joy Behar, one of the show’s prominent voices, responded with a hint of sarcasm, saying, “I think Stormy [Daniels] is intelligent. I don’t think that’s 100%. She’s very smart.” Meanwhile, Whoopi Goldberg attempted to downplay the sting of Cuban’s comments, clarifying, “He means on stage.”
