Crossfire Hurricane Leader Just Crossed the Line

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

To Trump’s allies and many others across the political spectrum, the message couldn’t have been more clear—or more dangerous.

“Just James Comey causally calling for my dad to be murdered. This is who the Dem-Media worships. Demented!!!!” Donald Trump Jr. posted on X, echoing the outrage felt by many on the right.

It didn’t take long for members of Congress to weigh in, with Texas Congressman Wesley Hunt declaring, “Posted by the former FBI Director… When are we going to stop talking and start prosecuting?”

Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt added, “Just the former director of the FBI calling for the assassination of our President. Every single Democrat should denounce this but sadly their media allies won’t even ask them about it.”

Even voices outside of Trump’s inner circle expressed alarm.

“Don’t know how this can be interpreted as any other way but a threat against President Trump. James Comey should at the very least get a visit from the secret service. Also is everyone mentally ill?” wrote Meghan McCain, the daughter of late Republican Senator John McCain.

This firestorm isn’t happening in a vacuum.

Trump has already survived two reported assassination attempts. One assailant allegedly fired a shot at him. Another reportedly acted out of belief that Kamala Harris’ rhetoric had painted Trump as a danger to democracy. Given this history, many are calling Comey’s post more than just irresponsible—it’s potentially incitement.

The post is only the latest example of what many conservatives argue is a pattern of unchecked vitriol from the left.

For nearly a decade, mainstream media and left-wing pundits have freely used terms like “Nazi,” “fascist,” and “dictator” to describe Trump. But critics say the rhetoric has escalated far beyond political hyperbole—it’s now bordering on open threats.

Comey’s history only adds to the suspicion.

He wasn’t just a bystander in the anti-Trump resistance. As FBI Director, he authorized Crossfire Hurricane—the investigation that launched a multi-year crusade against Trump, based on what turned out to be unverified claims. He admitted under oath to leaking memos in order to push for the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who led the now-debunked Russia probe.

That investigation, now widely viewed as a political hit job, was fueled by biased intel, FBI misconduct, and heavy media amplification. To many, Comey played the role of chief architect in a campaign to delegitimize a sitting president.

Now, with one cryptic image, Comey has reentered the political battlefield—but this time, his critics say, the implications are far more serious than partisan gamesmanship.

Trump supporters are calling on federal authorities to take immediate action. Calls are growing for Comey to be investigated—not only for the photo—but also for what many believe is a history of abuse of power.

And with Trump once again running for office, concerns over his safety are intensifying.

Whether or not Comey’s cryptic post was an intentional message, its impact is clear: a political firestorm with potentially dangerous consequences.

The question now isn’t whether Comey’s photo was inappropriate.
