In a stunning revelation that could shake Washington to its core, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino exposed a massive cover-up orchestrated under former FBI Director James Comey. Appearing on Fox & Friends Thursday morning, Bongino dropped a political grenade — the FBI has uncovered a room filled with hidden and mishandled evidence, allegedly buried during Comey’s tenure, and the contents could soon be made public.
While discussing his new position at the bureau and the reopening of several investigations from the Biden years, Bongino shifted the conversation toward something far more explosive. The veteran lawman confirmed that a secret storage room — long kept under wraps — was discovered inside FBI headquarters, containing an array of documents and materials that had never been disclosed.
“There was a room and we found a lot of stuff. A hidden room. I wouldn’t call it hidden, but hidden from us, at least, and not mentioned to us. We found stuff in there, and a lot of it’s from the Comey era.”
Bongino didn’t hold back. He claimed that many inside the bureau were deeply disturbed by what they found — not only the concealment of evidence but the apparent institutional efforts to keep it that way. The bombshell came during a segment where Bongino also responded to former FBI Director James Comey’s cryptic and disturbing social media post that many have interpreted as a veiled threat against former President Donald Trump.
