During the last Congress, Comer issued subpoenas for top White House aides Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernal, and Ashley Williams—individuals he believes played pivotal roles in shielding Biden from scrutiny. Now, with Biden no longer enjoying the protections of the presidency, Comer intends to haul them before Congress to face tough questions.
Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s longtime physician, is also under the microscope for issuing suspiciously positive medical reports about the president, even as public appearances raised red flags about his fitness. Comer alleges that the Biden team obstructed previous attempts to obtain interviews or depositions from these individuals. But those days of political protection, he says, are over.
“Last Congress, we launched an investigation into the cover-up of President Biden’s cognitive decline, but we were met with obstruction by the Biden White House and mockery from Democrats in Congress,” Comer explained. “Now that Biden’s top enablers can no longer hide behind the power of the presidency, we’re continuing our investigation to expose the truth.”
One of the most bizarre and troubling aspects of this saga is the alleged use of an autopen—a device that mechanically replicates a signature—for major presidential decisions during Biden’s final weeks in office.
Comer is raising red flags about pardons and policy orders supposedly “signed” by Biden using this machine. If true, it would suggest that not only was Biden unable to fulfill his duties, but that others may have been making consequential decisions under his name.
“Key decisions made in the final days of the Biden presidency, including using autopens to issue blanket pardons for the Biden Crime Family, must be fully examined,” Comer stated. “There are serious concerns that President Biden lacked the mental capacity to authorize those actions.”
The Oversight Committee is also expanding its focus to include the Department of Justice. Comer has demanded audio recordings from Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s mishandling of classified documents—recordings that reportedly reveal troubling moments of confusion and memory lapses.
Hur’s final report described Biden as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” a phrase that struck a nerve across Washington. Yet despite a lawful subpoena, Attorney General Merrick Garland refused to turn over the tapes. With the Biden team out of office, Comer believes the roadblocks won’t hold much longer.
Now that the Democrats no longer hold the White House, Comer is preparing to take the gloves off. He warned that starting next week, those who helped conceal Biden’s condition will begin receiving official notice from the Oversight Committee.
“The American people are done being lied to,” Comer declared. “We’re going to bring the truth into the light.”
This new phase of the investigation could shed light on long-standing suspicions—that President Biden was not fully in control of his administration, and that a network of unelected aides and insiders were pulling the strings from behind the scenes.
With the Biden family’s past already marred by allegations of influence peddling and backroom deals, the stakes of this investigation could not be higher. Now that they no longer have the White House to shield them, the truth may finally come out—and it could be devastating.
