She followed up with another claim aimed at Trump’s actions after leaving office.

“Trump then pardoned the attackers,” she said.

Clinton concluded her post with a sweeping condemnation of the former president and his legacy.

“He betrayed his oath and his country, and we won’t ever forget it,” Hillary added.

However, critics were quick to point out that Clinton’s statements rely on assertions that are not supported by Trump’s actual words on January 6. At no point did President Trump instruct his supporters to attack Congress or engage in violence at the Capitol.

In fact, Trump explicitly urged calm and lawful behavior. During his speech earlier that day, Trump told supporters to protest in a lawful manner, using language that the mainstream media frequently omits when recounting the events.

Trump told his supporters to “peacefully and patriotically” protest on January 6, 2021.

That line, often excluded from televised clips and headlines, has become central to the argument that Trump’s words were intentionally misrepresented to construct a narrative of incitement. Conservatives argue that without selectively edited soundbites, the claim that Trump encouraged violence collapses.

Concerns about media manipulation intensified after revelations involving the British Broadcasting Corporation. President Trump filed a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the BBC, alleging the outlet deliberately altered his January 6 speech in a way that fundamentally changed its meaning.

According to The Telegraph, an internal whistleblower memo revealed the BBC “doctored” Trump’s speech to make it sound like he was telling supporters to march over to the Capitol and “fight like hell.”

The memo reportedly detailed how edits removed context and rearranged statements, creating the impression that Trump was encouraging confrontation rather than lawful protest. Critics say such practices highlight how media organizations have contributed to public confusion and political division surrounding January 6.

Supporters of the former president argue that this pattern explains why figures like Hillary Clinton continue repeating claims that fall apart under scrutiny. They contend that without distorted media coverage, accusations of Trump-directed violence would never have gained traction.

“They have to lie about President Trump’s January 6 speech to make it appear he encouraged violence,” one Trump supporter commented online.

As Clinton’s post circulated, Trump supporters flooded social media with responses pushing back against her claims. Many accused her of knowingly spreading misinformation, while others questioned why she continues to insert herself into the January 6 debate years later.

Some said Trump should sue Hillary.

Others pointed out that Clinton has never faced consequences for promoting now-discredited narratives, including her own role in advancing the Russia collusion story that dominated headlines for years before collapsing under investigation.

For many conservatives, Clinton’s comments are less about honoring law enforcement or protecting democracy and more about keeping January 6 alive as a political weapon. They argue the issue is repeatedly resurfaced to distract from current failures, shield Democratic leadership from criticism, and demonize Trump supporters ahead of future elections.

As the anniversary passes, one thing remains clear: January 6 continues to be a flashpoint not just over what happened, but over who gets to define it. While Hillary Clinton insists the events represent an unforgivable betrayal, Trump supporters maintain that the real betrayal lies in years of media distortion, political opportunism, and refusal to acknowledge inconvenient facts.

  1. Clinton rightly assumes that most Americans simply want to move on from the lies and fabrications of January 6 and live out normal lives. But Clinton is not normal, not by a long shot. She is an obsessive/compulsive power-monger who hold a venomous grudge against Trump, more to her own detriment than to his. She accepted no responsibility for the Benghazi incident and the associated loss of American lives; she sidesteps every question concerning her failed ‘Russian-Collusion Hoax against Trump and even now conveniently forgets that her own Democratic Associate, Nancy Pelosi, was encouraged by Trump to call in the National Guard on January 6, and Pelosi failed to do just that.

No. Clinton is a liar trying to be relevant in a country that has not forgotten her cheating husband and her blind ambition.

  2. In my opinion, Killary should be prosecuted for treason. As far as I know there is no statute of limitations for this or murder. The Clinton Crime Foundation should be audited and funds seized for illegal contributions from enemies of the United States. These funds could be used to dismantle DEI programs, fund further ICE operations or investigate fraud and coruption.
Killary may be a legend in her own mind, but to the majority of us she is a major embarassment that should just shut up and fade away (in prison).
