In a striking example of the left’s intolerance for conservative voices, CNN helped spark the firing of Floyd Brown, a respected Christian and prominent figure in the MAGA movement, from his role as vice president of development at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Brown is no ordinary figure. He founded The Western Journal, played significant roles in the Reagan administration and presidential campaigns, and was the founding president of the influential conservative group Citizens United. His leadership also extended to the Young America’s Foundation, where he managed the Reagan Ranch and its center in Santa Barbara, California.
CNN made clear it played a direct role in Brown’s dismissal. The network aired a clip Thursday and followed up with a story noting that hours after their reporter Andrew Kaczynski contacted the Kennedy Center about Brown’s past comments, the institution moved swiftly to fire him.
