The case against the man accused of assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk is shaping up to be one of the most closely watched trials in years. And now prosecutors are laying out just how overwhelming their case may be.
During a Monday court appearance in Utah County, Chief Deputy Attorney Chad Grunander told the judge that investigators had already pulled together an extraordinary amount of material.
“There is a substantial amount of discovery in this case, Your Honor. It’s voluminous, to say the least. And we’re working on a process where we can exchange information as quickly as possible and be efficient in that process,” Grunander said, according to Fox News.
