In a stunning revelation, Catholic Charities USA reportedly collected billions in taxpayer dollars to house illegal immigrants under the Biden administration, as exposed by a Just the News investigation.
Federal Billions Flow to Catholic Charities
According to USASpending.gov data, Catholic Charities raked in over $2 billion in federal grants for immigration services over four years, cementing its status as a top private recipient of federal funding. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) led contributions with $1.93 billion, while the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) chipped in $156 million and $138 million, respectively.

FEMA also provided funds, but the report did not disclose the amount. FEMA’s spending came under fire when the House Committee on Homeland Security grilled Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over funding shortfalls during hurricane season, blaming resources redirected to immigration programs.
