Not long after Pelosi’s disturbing White House visit, Wall Street Journal reporters Annie Linskey and Siobhan Hughes published a bombshell exposé titled “Behind Closed Doors, Biden Shows Signs of Slipping.” In it, sources from both sides of the aisle confirmed what Pelosi had seen with her own eyes — Joe Biden was mentally unfit for the job.
But rather than support the truth, Pelosi lashed out in public, defending Biden and slamming the Wall Street Journal journalists for daring to speak the truth she knew was undeniable.
“Many of us spent time with @WSJ to share on the record our first-hand experiences with @POTUS, where we see his wisdom, experience, strength and strategic thinking. Instead, the Journal ignored testimony by Democrats, focused on attacks by Republicans and printed a hit piece,” Pelosi posted on social media.
Following her lead, Pelosi’s loyal allies in the media jumped to discredit the Journal. CNN’s Oliver Darcy even claimed, “The Wall Street Journal owes its readers — and the public — better.”
But then came the moment that shattered the charade.
During a high-stakes debate against Donald Trump, Biden’s cognitive collapse was undeniable. His disjointed speech and vacant demeanor left no doubt — the president was not mentally present.

Suddenly, Linskey and Hughes were vindicated.
“What we’ve seen in the last few days, is the reporting that we did was vindicated,” Linskey said during an interview with Fox News host Dana Perino.
The journalists had spent months researching their report. “The story was a very difficult story to write,” Linskey admitted. “We spent months working on it… we had a very high bar.”
And now, we know that while they were telling the truth, Pelosi was actively covering it up.
What’s more, despite publicly praising Biden’s capabilities, Pelosi later orchestrated an internal Democrat coup to remove him as the party’s nominee. She knew Biden was unelectable in his condition — especially with the prospect of serving into his late 80s.
But her silence and deception left the Democrat Party backed into a corner. There was no time to hold a proper primary. The result? They were forced to hand the reins to Vice President Kamala Harris, a deeply unpopular figure with voters across the political spectrum.
