The brutal murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson left the nation stunned. But as his grieving family tried to process their loss, a sick individual decided to make their pain even worse.

Federal agents tracked down and arrested 40-year-old Shane Daley of Galway, New York after he allegedly launched a campaign of threatening phone calls against Thompson’s loved ones.
Harassment Begins Just Hours After the Murder
According to federal prosecutors, Daley wasted no time. Within hours of Thompson being gunned down outside the Hilton Midtown in Manhattan on December 4, 2024, he began leaving voicemails for a member of Thompson’s family.
Between December 4 and December 7, Daley placed multiple calls, leaving vile and threatening messages. What he said in those calls was beyond disturbing.
