The United States is preparing to unleash what officials say could be the most powerful wave of attacks yet against Iranian military targets, signaling a dramatic escalation in the ongoing campaign now entering its tenth day.

Defense leaders say the next phase of operations will involve a massive surge in firepower. More aircraft, more precision strikes, and more refined intelligence are expected to drive what the Pentagon believes will be a decisive moment in the confrontation.
During a media briefing Tuesday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made it clear the coming hours would mark a significant escalation in the military operation.
“Today will be, yet again, our most intense day of strikes inside Iran,” Hegseth said during a media briefing.
