Among these documents, one striking revelation has emerged: the Biden administration’s FBI was authorized to use deadly force during their August 2022 raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
The operation, ordered by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, was marked by an alarming level of preparedness for violence. Documents indicate that had Trump been present during the raid, FBI agents were instructed to engage directly with him and his Secret Service detail under certain conditions. The filings noted: “Should FPOTUS [Trump] arrive at MAL [Mar-a-Lago], FBI MM EM and OSCs will be prepared to engage with FPOTUS and USSS Security Team.” Additionally, any interference by the Secret Service would prompt immediate communication and potential confrontation with FBI emergency management teams.
