The son of President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, is presently facing serious legal issues. He was accused with three severe charges involving controlled drugs and guns today.
Two of the accusations may result in ten years in prison and a heavy fine of $250,000. These are substantial penalties. In addition, a three-year period of supervised release and a $100 assessment are required.

Hunter’s lawsuit revolves around an event on October 12, 2018, and he is accused of making false claims on his guns record. He allegedly misled the dealer when buying a Colt Cobra 38SPL revolver in Wilmington, Delaware, according to court records.
A number of certifications are required on the application form from potential buyers of firearms, including whether they are “an unlawful user of, or addicted to, any stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance. When acquiring the pistol, Hunter Biden allegedly lied on his certification that he wasn’t a drug addict or illegal user, according to the indictment.
Investigations were started in 2018 to look into Hunter’s links with foreign businesses looking to influence U.S. government matters while also revealing his struggle with drug addiction.
Since taking over Congress in January, House Republicans have stepped up their inquiry into Hunter’s financial affairs. Finding out if Joe Biden was aware of and/or supported these actions is their main objective.
By the end of September, an indictment against Hunter is anticipated, according to Special Counsel David Weiss.
