In a bombshell move Friday morning, the FBI arrested Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah C. Dugan after an explosive federal investigation into her alleged interference with immigration enforcement.

As previously outlined by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Dugan had come under scrutiny after suspicions surfaced that she helped an illegal immigrant slip past U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents inside the Milwaukee County Courthouse.
Chief Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Carl Ashley had alerted fellow judges by email that ICE officers had arrived at the courthouse on April 18 with a warrant for Dugan herself.
