The United States has launched one of the most significant military campaigns in the Middle East in decades, and according to senior commanders overseeing the mission, the operation is still in its early stages.
During a high-level operational briefing, Brad Cooper, the commander of United States Central Command, disclosed new details about the unfolding campaign known as Operation Epic Fury. The admiral confirmed that the opening phase of the mission has already delivered a massive wave of coordinated American and Israeli strikes against Iranian military infrastructure.
The operation was ordered by Donald Trump along with senior defense officials, with the goal of crippling Iran’s capacity to threaten U.S. forces, allied nations, and vital international shipping lanes. The campaign comes after decades of escalating tensions, regional aggression, and acts of terrorism attributed to the Iranian regime.
Just four days after the operation began, Admiral Cooper described the scale of the military deployment as historic.
