America’s largest retailer may be the next target of a conservative boycott as backlash erupts over a political stunt funded by a billionaire heir to the Walmart fortune.

Christy Walton—the widow of John T. Walton, son of Walmart founder Sam Walton—is now in the spotlight for bankrolling a full-page ad in the ultra-leftist New York Times. The ad encourages mass protests against President Donald Trump, triggering calls for a national boycott of the retail giant.

The ad, launched by the “No Kings” movement, urges Americans to “mobilize” this Saturday—Flag Day and Trump’s birthday—calling it a day to “reject authoritarianism.” This comes as President Trump is set to headline a patriotic military parade in honor of the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary.

Political commentator and entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David (PBD) warned earlier this week that left-wing NGOs and Democrat operatives are orchestrating more than 1,500 protests across all 50 states—an operation he described as a powder keg of potential chaos ahead of the midterm elections. He also linked some of these protest efforts to funding sources connected to Walton.
