President Joe Biden hasn’t been to East Palestine despite the massive destruction brought on by a hazardous train wreck, but he recently vowed that he wouldn’t forget this town in need and that he will go there “at some time” to offer his help.

“I’ve spoken with every official in Ohio, Democrat and Republican, on a continuing basis, as in Pennsylvania,” Biden said. “I laid out a little bit in there what I think the answers are … and we will be implementing an awful lot to the legislation here.”
Instead of visiting crucial employees, volunteers, and others affected by the coronavirus around Ohio this weekend, Joe Biden is taking a well-earned break from the campaign trail and spending some time at home in Delaware. When a derailment shook a tiny hamlet, Michael Regan, the head of the EPA, and Pete Buttigieg, the secretary of transportation, rushed to assess the situation. On Feb. 23, Donald Trump visited the little community of East Palestine to vocalize his unhappiness about President Biden’s lack of visitation – a stance shared by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine in recent statements on “Fox & Friends”.
