The left has a short memory when it comes to their own political history. Now that former President Donald Trump is back in the White House and keeping his promises, Democrats are in full meltdown mode. But just a few years ago, President Joe Biden’s administration had no problem using the most vulnerable children as pawns in its ideological crusade.
In 2022, Biden’s U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) took an unprecedented step: it attempted to force schools to adopt its radical LGBT policies by threatening to take away free or reduced-price lunches from underprivileged children. According to the Washington Free Beacon, the administration tied school meal funding to compliance with a new interpretation of Title IX, a federal anti-discrimination law. The policy required schools to embrace gender ideology, including allowing biological males to compete in girls’ sports and access female locker rooms.

This move sparked outrage among parents, many of whom were already pushing back against radical gender policies in schools. Parents in districts like Loudoun County, Virginia, were met with resistance as they demanded common-sense protections for their children. Others, such as the Forsyth County School District in Georgia, faced Title IX investigations simply for removing sexually explicit books from school libraries.
