Just nine weeks after their encounter, Smith accuses the former president of handling secret materials improperly.

In addition to their March encounter, the former president Bratt also hosted Saba in the White House in November 2021. Bratt and the National Archives were negotiating the repatriation of presidential records from his Mar-A-Lago mansion during this period.

In 2021, Bratt continued his series of meetings at the upscale locale by meeting with a White House advisor.

Find out what the White House’s enigma is. The New York Post reveals the hidden meaning of the visitor logs, exposing a world of covert meetings and talks.

The conversations between representatives of Smith’s office and the Biden Administration have legal experts concerned. Why would they get together while Smith is looking into the president’s top rival in the 2024 election?

“There is no legitimate purpose for a line [DOJ] guy to be meeting with the White House except if it’s coordinated by the highest levels,” remarked Rudy Giuliani, a former mayor of New York City and a seasoned prosecutor. “What’s happening is they have trashed every ethical rule that exists and they have created a state police. It is a Biden state prosecutor and a Biden state police,” he continued.

Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University, stated that the March meeting “raises obvious concerns about visits to the White House after [Bratt] began his work with the special counsel.”

“There is no reason why the Justice Department should not be able to confirm whether this meeting was related to the ongoing investigation or concerns some other matter,” Turley said.
