In a desperate PR stunt, the two men responsible for years of foreign policy disasters tried to claim credit for Donald Trump’s stunning Gaza peace breakthrough. But this time, they were caught red-handed — and the fallout has left Trump smiling.
After years of failure to bring stability to the Middle East, Joe Biden couldn’t resist trying to take a victory lap he didn’t earn.
On Monday, Biden posted on X that he was “deeply grateful and relieved” about the Gaza ceasefire. He then tried to position himself at the center of Trump’s success. “The road to this deal was not easy,” Biden wrote. “My Administration worked relentlessly to bring hostages home, get relief to Palestinian civilians, and end the war.”
The claim is laughable. Biden and his team had more than two years to secure a deal — and delivered nothing but chaos, appeasement, and failure. While innocent people were held hostage, Biden’s foreign policy machine accomplished next to nothing.
