Pollsters inquired of prospective Iowa caucus attendees, “If Donald Trump is the Republican nominee in the general election in November, would you vote for him, vote for Joe Biden, vote for independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., or vote for some other third-party candidate?”
Only 11% of Republican caucus attendees overall stated they would switch to support Biden if Trump was selected as the nominee. If one were to focus just on Haley’s supporters, that percentage rose to an astounding 43%.
In Iowa, just 23% of Haley’s followers declared they would vote for Trump rather than Biden.
