Benny Johnson didn’t hold back during his interview with Homan, demanding answers on how this was allowed to happen.
“AOC has come—and what looks like to us crossed the line—a number of times,” Johnson said. “But two very curious stories out of her office: One, as soon as you were able to regain your position as Border Czar, AOC had a criminal alien who was working in her congressional staff flee the country.”
“How is somebody allowed to be a criminal alien in this country and then go work in Congress where you have access to classified material and you have access to a lot of important information?” he asked.
Homan confirmed what millions of Americans were thinking—it’s not just unethical, it may be criminal.
But the scandal goes even deeper. According to Homan, AOC has also been using her platform to openly teach illegal immigrants how to dodge ICE officers—something that could result in criminal prosecution under federal law.
“As far as her educating people on how to evade ICE arrests, she’s really educating them on how to be prosecuted,” Homan said.
Homan then laid out the very real legal consequences of such actions, citing specific federal statutes that make it illegal to interfere with or obstruct immigration enforcement.
“We have statutes on the books. Federal statute: When you knowingly hinder your removal, that’s a crime. When you take steps to prevent your removal after being ordered removed by a federal judge, it’s a crime.”
This isn’t something the Trump administration is letting slide. Homan confirmed that ICE has been ordered to begin prosecuting such cases—and AOC’s “education” campaign might put her squarely in the crosshairs.
“We have instructed ICE to start prosecuting these cases.”
“If you don’t want to open the door, and if we have a final order of removal, if you don’t want to participate and get travel documents for your home nation, you take steps to hinder your own removal—that’s a crime. You’ll be prosecuted.”
Allowing a criminal illegal immigrant into the halls of Congress doesn’t just show poor judgment—it represents a clear and present danger to U.S. national security. Members of Congress and their staff have access to sensitive, and sometimes classified, information. One slip could endanger American lives or disrupt vital operations.
AOC’s office has reportedly refused to respond to requests for comment. No surprise there.
Her political record includes comparing ICE facilities to “concentration camps” and championing the abolition of ICE altogether. But now, her extreme anti-border stance may have crossed a legal line.
As the investigation moves forward, Homan emphasized that attempts to twist the law won’t work this time.
“She can claim she’s educating people about constitutional rights; I’d argue she’s educating many people on how to be prosecuted. And you’re going to see that happening.”
This federal probe marks a major escalation in the Trump administration’s push to restore law and order—especially when it comes to immigration enforcement.
And for AOC, the message is clear: the days of radical leftists playing fast and loose with the law may be coming to an end.
