A decades-old political connection involving Minnesota Democrat Amy Klobuchar is receiving renewed attention as an autism services provider operated by former Klobuchar campaign staffer Nimco Ahmed faces an active state investigation.
Ahmed, the CEO of Milestone Development Center, has spent years involved in Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor politics. She also recently appeared publicly alongside Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, drawing widespread attention after a video featuring the two women circulated online.
Now, records cited by Alpha News have brought another prominent Minnesota Democrat into the story: Klobuchar.
According to a 2006 profile published by Mshale, Ahmed joined the “Klobuchar team” during Klobuchar’s first campaign for the U.S. Senate. The profile listed Ahmed with a campaign email address connected to Klobuchar’s operation.
