The U.S. Military has delivered another crushing blow to ISIS, launching a daring raid in Northern Syria that ended with the elimination of a senior terrorist leader. The Pentagon confirmed Wednesday that the militant was set to take on a major leadership role in the war-torn nation, making him a direct threat to America and its allies.
A Pentagon official told Fox News that a top ISIS financial officer was also killed during the mission. Both men were reportedly working behind the scenes to coordinate and finance fresh attacks in Iraq and Syria, continuing the terror group’s bloody campaign across the region.
No U.S. Casualties, No Civilian Harm
