The Taliban leaders have profited from their surplus of weapons by selling and smuggling them out of Afghanistan, exposing a lucrative commerce. An IDF officer has, nevertheless, divulged important intelligence indicating the existence of American small guns among Palestinian factions.
“The Israeli commander with whom Newsweek spoke said some of the U.S. small arms seized in Afghanistan have already been observed in the hands of Palestinian groups operating in the Gaza Strip.
