ABC7 Reporter Caught LYING About LA Riots!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

“Most people we’ve seen most of the evening have demonstrated peacefully,” Powell said.

That narrative would have been laughable if the situation hadn’t been so dangerous.

The very footage broadcast by ABC7 contradicted Powell’s calm portrayal. In reality, federal agents were forced to deploy tear gas and flashbang grenades to subdue the unruly mob that had surrounded the detention center.

“A sudden, aggressive move by federal agents stunning a crowd of protesters gathered outside the facility, clouds of tear gas filling the air as dozens of agents formed a line in the street,” said the ABC7 voiceover.

This wasn’t some calm disagreement. Protesters were not only trespassing on federal property — they were vandalizing government buildings.

Powell even admitted during the segment, “Some of the demonstrators got very close to the property. In fact, some of them went onto the property, started tagging the building, started banging on fences.”

Let that sink in. Defacing federal buildings and trespassing onto secure government property — and it’s still being brushed off as “mostly peaceful”?

The escalation became so serious that the Los Angeles Police Department had to step in, declaring the protest an “unlawful assembly” and warning the crowd of imminent arrests. Officers in riot gear issued orders to disperse and threatened the use of non-lethal force if the crowd didn’t back down.

Meanwhile, Powell’s reporting seemed more concerned with placating the protesters than actually reporting the dangerous behavior taking place. As she tried to continue her coverage, she acknowledged her own crew was being targeted by agitators.

“Unfortunately, that is happening. Some people are yelling things,” she said.

Still, she clung to the same tired talking point: “There are some people who are more hardcore about what they’re doing out here.”

That “hardcore” activity included attacking federal property and refusing to obey police orders. Powell herself noted, “The federal agents stayed inside the building, but at a certain point, some of the demonstrators got very close to the property.”

It wasn’t until agents were left with no choice that they advanced in full riot gear and used crowd control measures. But somehow, according to ABC7, this entire scenario still fell under the umbrella of a “mostly peaceful protest.”

This is exactly the type of media gaslighting that Americans have come to expect. When leftist mobs riot, loot, and vandalize property, reporters scramble to rewrite reality. But when it comes to Trump supporters gathering on Capitol grounds, suddenly it’s an “insurrection.”

The hypocrisy is staggering.

Instead of holding rioters accountable, the mainstream media is more interested in providing cover for their political allies. Powell’s report is just the latest example of how deeply embedded the narrative control has become.

The Trump administration’s push to restore law and order clearly struck a nerve with pro-illegal immigration radicals. But instead of condemning the violence, the media bent over backwards to paint the agitators as victims.

The American people aren’t fooled. When federal agents are forced to use tear gas and flashbangs to prevent a federal building from being overrun, that’s not peaceful. That’s an assault on law enforcement — and on the rule of law itself.

Yet outlets like ABC7 continue to pretend otherwise, proving once again whose side they’re really on.

The only thing “mostly peaceful” about this riot was the media coverage. The rest was anything but.

This incident in Los Angeles serves as yet another reminder that the corporate press isn’t interested in truth — they’re interested in protecting their political narrative, no matter how much footage or facts get in the way.
