Visitors to the former webpage, hosted at whitehouse.gov/es, are now greeted with a stark error message that reads, “Page Not Found,” alongside a button labeled “Go To Home Page.”
The removal of the site, which had been operational up until the morning of January 20 as Joe Biden prepared to leave office, marks a significant shift in accessibility for Spanish-speaking Americans. According to Newsweek, the Spanish-language section has been a fixture of the White House’s online presence since the administration of President Bill Clinton.

This is not the first time President Trump’s administration has taken such action. During his first term, the Spanish-language site was also taken offline. Adding to the controversy, the White House’s Spanish-language account on X (formerly Twitter) has also been removed.
