President Donald Trump hit back hard after being criticized by Episcopal Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde during a religious service Tuesday. What should have been a moment of solemn prayer and reflection turned into a political spectacle, sparking a fiery response from the former president.
“The so-called Bishop who spoke at the National Prayer Service on Tuesday morning was a Radical Left hard line Trump hater,” Trump declared on Truth Social the following day.

Trump’s pointed words didn’t stop there. “She brought her church into the World of politics in a very ungracious way. She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart,” he added, pulling no punches in his critique of Budde’s sermon.
