Trump’s Best Chances to Win? Look at These States!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Analysts agree that Trump’s strongest chance lies in winning the Sun Belt states, where he currently leads in some polls. Georgia and Arizona are considered his best bets among these swing states. Winning both would put Trump at approximately 246 electoral votes, leaving him just 24 short of the 270 needed.

If Trump can then clinch victories in Nevada and North Carolina, his total would climb to 268. At that point, he would only need to win one of the Rust Belt swing states — with Pennsylvania being the most likely, based on polling averages — to push him over the edge. A victory in Pennsylvania would bring Trump’s electoral count to 287, securing his return to the White House.

Trump Survivor Coin

In 2016, Trump stunned the political world by flipping the traditionally Democratic “blue wall” states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, ultimately beating Hillary Clinton. While Biden reclaimed these states in 2020, Trump may still have a chance to turn them red once again.

If Trump manages to retake these three states, he would then only need one additional swing state to hit 270 electoral votes. Georgia, which has 16 electoral votes, is seen as his best shot based on current polling averages. If he secures Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Georgia, he would end the race with just enough electoral votes to win.

Another scenario to watch for on Tuesday is the possibility of an electoral tie — an outcome that could throw the nation into further uncertainty. A tie could happen if Trump wins the Sun Belt states, while Harris maintains her hold on the Rust Belt but loses Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District. In this case, both candidates would end up with 269 electoral votes each.

Alternatively, a tie could also happen if Trump carries Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina but fails to win Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. Should this happen, the election outcome would be left to the House of Representatives, where Republicans hold a slight edge, potentially tipping the scales in Trump’s favor.

As The Western Journal pointed out in a recent analysis, “everything is still on the table for this year’s election.” With each candidate so close in the polls, it’s clear that every vote in these key states will matter. Election watchers and voters alike are bracing for a close and possibly contentious finish.
