As Election Day looms, voters are gearing up for what could be one of the most intensely contested elections in U.S. history. The tight race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump has stayed close, keeping the outcome uncertain. With such high stakes, many conservative voters are asking a crucial question: “What does Trump need to win?” Here’s a breakdown of the states to watch and Trump’s potential paths to victory as the nation heads into Tuesday.

To claim the presidency, Trump will need to secure 270 electoral votes. Experts predict that both Harris and Trump will likely capture around 220 electoral votes based on their respective strongholds. This means both candidates will have to secure an additional 50 electoral votes from the seven battleground states to cross the threshold.
