The renowned Beach Boys co-founder Wilson revealed the untimely death of his wife, Melinda Ledbetter Wilson, on January 30. The couple had spent 28 years together. “My heart is shattered. My dear wife of 28 years, Melinda, passed away this morning. I’m crying, as are our five kids,” he wrote.
“She gave me the emotional security I needed to have a career,” Brian wrote. “She encouraged me to make the music that was closest to my heart.”
