Fresh accusations have surfaced against Fani Willis, the district attorney for Fulton County, implying that the timeline she previously provided and the nature of her connection with Nathan Wade, an outside prosecutor, may not match the truth.
This occurs in the midst of Willis supervising the prosecution of former President Donald Trump and his allies, casting doubt on the fairness of the proceedings and Willis’s capacity for objectivity.

Recent reports indicate that witnesses are ready to confirm that Willis and Wade lived together, despite Willis’s denials to the contrary. This is especially controversial because it implies that Willis and Wade started dating in 2019, which is three years earlier than the timeline they admitted. More significantly, it also comes before Wade was appointed as an outside prosecutor in the election interference case in 2021.
WATCH:
Adding gasoline to the fire, it has been reported that Willis and Wade lived together at an Airbnb that received government funding and was ostensibly used as a romantic retreat and “safe house.” This evidence calls into question Willis’s earlier claims made in court filings, in which she acknowledged a personal connection with Wade but refuted any improper behavior or influence on the lawsuit alleging election meddling.
“In 2022, District Attorney Willis and I developed a personal relationship in addition to our professional association and friendship,” Wade admitted in the sworn deposition revealed last week.
“In the Spring of 2021, District Attorney Willis asked me and two other attorneys to assist her in looking for a competent, trustworthy attorney to manage and lead the investigation of possible attempts to interfere with the administration of the 2020 election,” Wade continued.
But in the most recent filing, Willis called the accusations “salacious” and “meritless,” asking the judge to reject the motions asking for her and her office to be removed from the case without a trial.
New claims cast doubt on Willis’s credibility and the way her office handled the case. If Willis and Wade had a personal relationship prior to Wade’s appointment and it was concealed or misrepresented, this could be viewed as a conflict of interest that calls into question the impartiality of the prosecution in the lawsuit alleging election meddling.
Possible charges against Willis might have a big impact and lead to her involvement in the case being reevaluated. Demands for her recusal or the appointment of an unbiased prosecutor to protect the integrity of the court proceedings may result from this.

Vibrant court records from Trump’s co-defendant Michael Roman have revealed startling accusations made against Willis. An alleged “improper” affair involving Wade and Willis is revealed in these documents. To exacerbate the situation, Wade is alleged to have cost taxpayers an astounding $600,000 since January 2022 despite having no experience in key areas of law.
In November 2021, Wade billed Fulton County for a full day’s work, according to Roman’s filing, even though he was designated as a special prosecutor. The document also suggests that Willis benefited financially from her connection with Wade by funding their lavish trips together with his inflated taxpayer-funded salary.
“Willis allegedly paid her secret boyfriend a significantly higher hourly rate than another one of her special prosecutors who actually has significant experience,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote (R-GA) in a complaint filed last week. “And with the nearly $700,000 Wade has collected in government funds as one of Willis’ special prosecutors, he has allegedly taken her on a luxury Caribbean cruise, a trip to Napa, and other lavish trips.”
