Trump’s CNN Confrontation Sparks ‘Fake News’ Outcry!

On Monday, former president Donald Trump made headlines when he got into a dramatic and direct altercation with a CNN video reporter. At a pivotal point in his address, Trump used the chance to interact with members of the crowd and the media that was there.

“I just want to thank you all. Now while I’m here, unlike Biden… Biden would never do this. It would be the end of his political career,” Trump remarked.

Then he asked, pointing to the camera “Are you with the news?”

‘Super Tuesday’ in the 2024 Presidential Primary race is quickly approaching, and according to the most recent surveys, Trump is holding onto his lead. The big surprise, though, is how closely contested the race is for second place, directly behind Trump.

Recent surveys by The Trafalgar Group and Insider Advantage, which were distributed via X by Interactive polls, indicate that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley are presently tied for popularity. DeSantis is at 19.3% and Haley is at 18.5%, therefore they are both within one point of one another. This poll, which took place from Jan. 12-14 and polled 1,092 potential voting Iowans, finds that the two Governors are now inside the margin of error, which is 2.9%.

Party members gather at various places throughout the state for the Iowa caucuses, when they engage in candidacies discussions and select delegates for the county conventions. The selection of delegates to the national convention is largely dependent on these gatherings. The caucuses are more open and participatory than primary votes, with lively debates and participant realignment, particularly in the Democratic caucus.

With just 6.5% of the vote, Vivek Ramaswamy is lagging behind the competitors in the field of pharmaceutical entrepreneurship. Even in the most hopeful scenario, he is trapped below the 10% mark. Asa Hutchinson, a former governor of Arkansas who declared his intention to run on Sunday, is behind the field with a pitiful 0.7%.

With 52.1% of the vote, Trump has an unquestionable advantage over his rivals, outspending them by an astounding 32.8 points.

Get ready for the Iowa caucuses starting on Monday evening, January 15th. This particular approach is very dependent on the “ground game,” thus it should not be taken lightly. Even if Trump appears to be in the lead, a campaign’s ranking in second place is crucial. Haley and DeSantis are now tied statistically, but Ramaswamy might yet surprise everyone.

In recent Iowa events, the antagonism and tone between Haley, DeSantis, and Ramaswamy have escalated to unprecedented levels. While their attention was largely centered at Trump, they have now switched their emphasis onto each other as well.

DeSantis shared many clips from the Jan. 10th Republican presidential debate on CNN, in which only he and Haley took part. Before the CNN debate, he used a variety of video clips to disparage Haley in a very generic way, writing, “Nikki Haley is disparaging the Iowa Caucuses and insulting you. I will always defend Iowa’s values of faith, family, and freedom. While Donald Trump is focused on himself and Haley is focused on big donors, I hope to earn your support on January 15 — I won’t let you down!”

Haley, on the other side, has harshly attacked DeSantis due to his conduct as governor and in Congress.
